Green Card

A U.S. Green Card (officially known as a Permanent Resident Card) gives you the right to live and work permanently in the United States. It’s a major step toward U.S. citizenship but doesn’t automatically make you a citizen.

Renewal of 10-Year Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

If your 10-year Green Card has expired or is about to expire, you should apply to renew it. You can start the renewal process up to 6 months before the expiration date.

Removal of Conditions on a 2-Year Conditional Green Card

If you hold a conditional Green Card that is valid for 2 years, you must request to remove the conditions on your residency before the card expires. This petition can be submitted starting 90 days prior to the card’s expiration date.
